work is S L O W here at Ordo Octopia HQ simply because the team are hedonistic sexy people addicted to online grids ie; SecondLife and MineCraft.
After much debate about unavailability of gothic noir texture packs for MineCraft, the cat-69-tails was duly cracked and members set in action filling the hole.
We are currently developing the GN texturepack for MineCraft, as it costs a lot less to construct a reptilian cuboid environment than it does to run a sim on SL. Please don't mention OpenSim for mac, we are simple self-respecting folk who will need harder drugs than caffeine to cope with that amount of learning curve yet.

Our background agenda is to rapidly construct a 3D immersive experience using existing and available online grids, to figure out a few details about our own projects eg; tRust.
The MineCraft engine is perfect for that franchise since it involves high-tech digital-polymer environment dungeon crawls and intermittent deep jungle canyons.
We are learning as we go; the development of scorpion-squid hybrid monsters to inhabit GNMC as mobs will eventually follow as will a haunting ambient soundscape remixed from the oficial tRust soundtrack.

ideas to suggest to MC developers:
blocks which have a function eg; project holo, display youtube, activate gif, once activated by redstone/switch/button
blocks that rotate, manually and also activated by: sun, water, redstone, wind. This combined with capacitor blocks (colour changes in layers as with stacking snow to create a full block, and is depleted over a duration of time - the same script can be used as for the number of hits it takes to break a block and add visual damage detail) act like limited duration redstone but can be charged up by elements or physical winding of them.
